As a born-and-bred Bostonian, I know I'm supposed to love Aerosmith (as well as the Sox), but I just can't. I think they were watered down pretenders to Zeppelin's throne at the outset and a sad parody of themselves during their comeback in the 80s. By the way, I met Joe Perry a couple of years ago when his wife injured her ankle and they came to the hospital where I worked for an xray. Lady Looks Like A Dude, and Joe is a TINY man -- maybe 5'4" and I must have 40 lbs on him. Soft spoken and fairly polite, but you could tell he didn't want to talk about it.
